Advertising with the MLA
We have developed a website and an e-Newsletter to provide information to our members, and to the general public in the surrounding communities of Carleton Place, Beckwith, Mississippi Mills, and Drummond/North Elmsley Townships. These platforms provide three great locations for advertising that will reach a wide audience
Website
Our website is responsive and user-friendly on desktop and laptop computers as well as mobile tablets and smart-phones. It is updated constantly with news and information about Mississippi Lake and the surrounding communities.
The example at right shows the advertising carousel on the home page that rotates panels continuously every 6 seconds. This is an excellent way to attract new and repeat business. Each panel features an image to suit your preferences, and can contain a live link to your own website.
Community Directory
Your message can also appear in our Community Directory page of the website, in the form of a Business card listing, and can include a small logo and a live link if you wish.
E-Newsletter
Our Electronic newsletter, Your Mississippi Minute, or the YMM, is published 7 times each year and is delivered to our subscribers by email using MailChimp. As of December 2021, we have over 600 subscribers.
Each edition of the YMM (Your Mississippi Minute) carries two advertising spots for banner ads. Check out back issues of Your Mississippi Minute.
